The Annual Raffle was another huge success as 27,246 raffle tickets were sold for a net profit of $43,922. Thank you to all the credit unions, members and business associates who participated in this fundraiser…your efforts are greatly appreciated!
The Foundation’s mission is to “Help Feed the Needy” people of Connecticut, and 100% of the profits will go toward the purchase of food to help feed needy men, women and children in the state. Thurston Foods will deliver food to the Connecticut Food Bank and Hartford FoodShare in time for families to celebrate the holidays. The Connecticut Food Bank distributes food to Fairfield, Litchfield, New Haven, New London, Middlesex and Windham counties; and FoodShare serves the people of Hartford and Tolland counties.
The following credit unions sold the most raffle tickets in their asset category: ▪ Less than $10 million, Quinnipiac Valley Community FCU ▪ $10 - $49 million, Greenwich Municipal EFCU ▪ Over $50 million, Constitution Corporate FCU ▪ Overall top sales, Mutual Security CU
