How Can I Join A Credit Union?

Credit unions are organized around fields of membership which are used to determine who is eligible to belong to the credit union. Anyone who fits into a credit union’s field of membership (i.e., place of work, worship or residence), or who has a family member who belongs to a credit union, can become a member by opening an account.
