We are pleased to announce that the statewide Avertising Campaign is officially in progress across the state.
The Cooperative Advertising Trustees met to streamline the approach to the Cooperative Advertising effort to get the biggest bang for our buck.
Following that, the Cooperative Advertising Committee met and re-fashioned our message through a facilitated process through the League. With that process the committee formulated excellent bullet points for the League to share with the radio stations around the state. Each radio station came up with proposed scripts, which were then voted on by the Committee, with the winning script to be used statewide.
▪ To view a map of Connecticut showing allocation and saturation, click Map. ▪ To see the advertising budget and hits per station, click Schedule. ▪ To read the radio script, click Script. ▪ To hear a typical radio spot, click Radio Spot. This is one of the eight spots produced from the script and each spot is different only in the gender of role and announcer. ▪ To find a credit union for you, click CULocator.com.

At a recent REAL Solutions meeting held at the League Education Center, Meriden, attendees from participating credit unions discussed the planning of a CU 4 Reality Fair. Activities included identifying target school(s) for a Reality Fair and operational strategy.
The group also: ▫ reviewed curriculum and discussed how to present this to schools; ▫ determined how much the credit unions wanted to be involved in the curriculum; and ▫ established a timeframe for the process.
